It was the last week of sch b4 the term break..n frujch had an event – Half time..(felt it was quite an appropriate name)…where I was invited to perform with Alvin along with a number of other acts..i was really busy with mid term test dat week n didn’t really had time to practice..n though

That was y we were forced to really practice onli on the performance day itself..i was at frujch by around 2pm..for a sound check..where I met Jamil..the legend in SMU’s band scene..haha..n it took veri little time for me to see y..dat guy can play..can sing..n is quite good lookin..not to mention..humble..
As least he’s not like some of the guitarist(or rather 1) I know frm sch..not veri ‘zai’ but wanna act arrogant..haha..
While the performance was the highlight of the day..i felt it was something that happened b4 dat..dat is really stuck in my head..we were jamming n singin songs randomly..n a girl walked up to us and asked “can u all sing my fren a song?...”…and we were like erm..ok..but y?..n she replied.. “my fren is goin for an operation..if u guys dun mind..pls play him a song that will ask him to stay strong”..str away we couldn’t say no..she was beginning to hav watery eyes..
Ladies n gentlemen..as cliché as it may sound..Life is Precious..pls make the most out of it..if there’s something u haven done or someone u haven loved..jus be brave..n do it..b4 its too late..we r all fortunate ppl..

Well…enough of sad stories..anyway!..haha..i felt I played pretty badly dat nite..i dunno…I tink I can do better..both of us..but I would like to thank all my frens who came down to support us..esp when some even got frens frm outside to come..we had ppl from SIM n NUS @ frujch dat nite..n also special thanx to those who changed their work schedules to rush down n watch us..ppl like gaston..sentill..
E next time we play..we’ll be better!..haha..i look forward to playin at frujch again..haha..afterall I get free alcohol for performin..haha..i hope I can squeeze more gigs into my schedule in the comin weeks..maybe a couple more at arts café @ esplanade..we’ll see..
Another dAy @ LTB
As much as I hate the time its takin up…I muz admit that LTB classes are quite fun actually..at least way better than biz law..Lol..the last lesson..we were required to construct a structure..dat will be able to protect an egg..such that it wun crack even when we thew it down from the 3rd floor..so we took some time..to cut the materials and started piecing bits n pieces of them together..our structure was veri much..trash?..haha..we jus built a straw frame to hold the egg..n wrapped it with lots of newspaper..haha..simple..but workable idea..
After we constructed the structure..we went to the stairway n threw it down one by one..some team’s structure gave way…n the one with the hot air balloon look alike structure..had their balloon burst on its own..haha..n it was pretty much a free fall..
After which..we went bac to class to unveil the results…n ta-da!! Our trash, bak zhang lookin structure survived..our egg did not hav a single scratch..hey hey..wat did I tell ya..simple but workable..haha..but most teams achieved it though..so..haha..but it was great fun la..i hate conventional teachin styles!!..
Super Friday
anyway..we went to catch a movie b4 clubbin n we watched Rob-B-hood…the Jackie chan show…when I first heard wat they wanted to watch..i was… “huh?!! Jackie chan??”…liew…fightin all the way…Lol..but after watchin it…I tink…its not bad la..haha..the baby in the show is super cute!!..almost as cute as me…Lol..muz be thick skin abit..but I dun tink the baby is Chinese though..
after the show..we strolled down orchard road b4 headin down to MoS..the music @ smoove was pretty bad to be honest…when we jus got there..after a while..it got better though..den qiang called me to say he was headin down too..cool!..been a yr since I clubbed with him..i left the dance floor when he arrived n headed for some drinks at the bar..that’s where I met this lady Eileen (hm…a lot of eileens ard..)…seem like a pretty intelligent lady..biz intelligence analyst..ard 26 or 27? (quite Hot may I add..lol)..who wanted to pay for my drinks…haha..but I turned her down though..hm..natural instinct..haha..n NO!..i am not ego!..haha..n qiang was like.."let her pay ma.." Lol..
headed bac to the dancefloor to find dat lixin n ai wei were there alone..
after plenty of drinks..we headed bac to smoove..to groove to the music..n we were on the podium..tsk tsk..y did I disgrace myself like dat..haha..hope no one was watchin..haha..we left the scene ard 5…when the music stopped..cab bac after that..n I was unconscious once I reached home..lol..gd thing we din drive there..haha..
Beginning of the End
On the 28Sept 2006, I finally completed my longggggg…draggingggggg….service. Lol. N I collected my IC on the following day (fri). I went bac to camp with andy and we were freaked to find out that the new RSM was lookin for ORD personnels..i was “oh m god!!..my hair!!..”..havin not officially discharged from service, there was a chance that they might try to stamp their authority on me one last time..so andy n I went into tactical mode..lol..
I still remember the days where he tried to ‘motivate’ us n gave us motivation speeches..which really made no sense to me..esp the time where he told us “you know..some things muz try one den u know..like for example..last time when I was a cadet..i was in ROC..i saw this hill downslope..it seemed very high..den I jumped..hurt myself n realized…wa…really veri high”…I really burst out in laughter inside..was coverin my mouth all the way..Lol..i dunno man..i dun wanna judge but…hahahah..

Lol…but we were talking in a relaxed mood la…but dat really felt gd…finally able to talk bac to him..haha..civilian rocks..haha.. I finally got bac my Pink IC..i’m over the moon!!
