But power was restored soon after n the show continued to flow. The other bands to followed included a couple of jazz bands who were..pretty ok I would say..well..but i’m not a big jazz fan..so..cant really commend I guess.

Tabular made the most impact to the crowd I muz say..they r a band that plays at the outside scene regularly..at pubs like wala wala…Their choice of song was veri appropriate to live shows..they played ‘Song 2’ by Blur, ‘Time is running out’ by Muse, ‘The reason’ by Hoobastank and also ‘Chasing Cars’ by Snow patrol..which pretty much pissed me off..as the last song is sort of the signature song that alvin n I would do on our sets..its the song we’re linked to..how dare they steal our song!!..haha..

The moment the startin of the song was played, I had several heads turning ard to look at me..sayin.. “Hey!! They’re playin ur song!!” grr…I need no reminder of that..haha..but in the spirit of music..all was gd..

The crowd was super responsive to the bands that nite..i’m not sure its due to the quality of the band or the nature of SMU crowds..prob a combi of both..but the atmosphere was great..we had a load full of ppl singin along with the bands..screamin our head off..n havin a great time..

Duan n wendy went down to campus to look for me though..to catch the bands as well..its been a super long while since we’ve met up tgt..glad we did.n caught up on a little cheap booz..lol..

That nite was the last time ‘7 till dawn’ would perform together as the bulk of the band’s members hav already started work n r finding it hard to commit to the band..Unfortunately..it was the first n last time dat I’ve seen them play..they were awesome really..

I mean..with Anthony and Jason on guitars…and Jamiel on vocals…veri little can go wrong..lol..

Their performance kicked off with ‘Disease’ by matchbox20..n they sang many of the ballads..like ‘I live my life for u’ by firehouse..hm..a song which I once sang n recorded for someone..hm..but dats out of the point..lol..

Near the end of the show..(7 Till Dawn was the last scheduled act)..balloons were released n it created a really nice finale to the event..but it was a pity it weren’t released at the most appropriate time though..but judging it to be a students’ effort..i hav to say it was pretty well done..

I went off for supper with duan n wendy afterwards n had to take off soon after as faith n may were waitin for me..was super paiseh..was supposed to meet them at Vivocity..n they got tired of waitin..so they came over to dhoby ghaut to wait at one of the pubs along selegie..n still..i kept them waitin..haha..so..i left pretty soon after supper..

Had a super long chat with them..pourin out my woes of late..u may say I’m mentally unbalanced..or jus depressed over nth..cos my situation is weird..there isn’t really anything to worry abt..but still..there were..nvm..i know I’m not makin sense..lol..

Anyway..was glad we met up too..dat nite was like reunion for dunno how many diff fraction of frens.lol..too bad qiang wasn’t there though..he always isn’t…tsk tsk..

IS Photoshoot

It was a Wednesday..n I was preparing to go for my noon FA class..final class actually..i received a sms..from u-know-which-monster..to bug me to go for an IS magazine photoshoot with her..they wanted to shoot a member of Sapphire..so..thick-skinnly..she accepted to go..i’m sure there r better representatives from Sapphire..they’re supposed to be hot..Kee kee kee..

Anyway..i met up with her after my lesson..n headed down to Tanjong Pagar..my ex workplace..or rather workplaceS..was there when I was with UOB..OCBC..and Business Trends..not to mention..my idol’s company (AKLTG) is there too..hee..but nonetheless..the details of the IS magazine office was not clear..dats y..we took a little detour..

I wanted to take the paintin on the wall..she jus had to block it..sigh..xtra.

When I met up with ade..she was already wearin the sapphire uniform..n we went down by train..haha..with all the ppl starin at her..like.. ‘r u mad?’..well technically speakin..she is..but..haha..she has a reason for doin so..sigh..both Alvin n her like to attract attention on trains..n I’ll jus try to hideaway..shy as ever...haha..

She had to do this interview which contained some really boring qns I muz add..haha..like..wat make u like cheerleading n stuff..they should have asked “r all cheerleaders bimbos?”..dat would spice things up alittle..although ade will prob hav to ans “oh no..its jus me..”..kee kee kee..but she did try to diss Magnum (Ngee Ann Poly’s Cheerleading team aka Sapphire Arch rivals) though..hee..u Magnums jus hav to go read the magazine to find out..hm..shud prompt aloha..haha..

When Idiots Collide

after answerin the qns..we headed down to the studio where they did the shoot..n we had to take these lifts dat looked old n cranky..n have yellowish plastic buttons..haha..the perfect scene for a ghost film.. “oh ade….”

While headin out of the building..the staff at IS asked ade if she has met the best cheerleader in Singapore..and dats where cookiemon went “oh actually there are a lot of diff styles out there..u cant really say who is best..we’re all good in our own strength..Blah Blah Blah..”..all the politically correct answers..n I was.. -_-||| …dat is so fake la..haha..she prob wanted to go “you cant really say who is best..although I tink I am..”..lol..n she admitted it.. See!!..haha..beaming with.. … …arrogance..haha

Town was our next destination..to do some shoppin for her baby keith?(hope I got the rite name)..n its not ‘hers’ by the way..if not dat would be such a pitiful baby..kee kee..monster for a mum..we headed to Heerens first..cos..we needed to check out a water dispenser for her bro..n we were hungry.wanted to go for sushi..thats where I kept bumpin into Chang Loo..tink dats his name..hee..

When we got to action city..we found that there were no pink dispensers..which itchymon’s bro wanted..n we started askin if any other outlets have it..n without checkin it out..the staff said no..they r all out of stock..they obviously didn’t check..n this Fat guy came out of no where n pretended to be the manager..i know he pretended cos he looked too young..n too rude to be one..n e other staffs confirmed he’s not manager too..n he prevented us from takin photos of the dispenser..statin its company policy..which I understood..but the way he spoke was jus way too rude..so I jus went out of the shop n took pic of the dispensers from the corridor..nth u can do abt it..haha..and ade started to speak on the phone to her bro in front of the ‘manager’ “ its company policy not to take photos..n company policy to run out of stock and company policy to pretend to be the manager”..she is one mean monster u dun wanna mess with la..so scary..i fear for my life..lol..i onli took photos..she shot insults..haha.

After the whole dispenser incident..we finally went for sushi..so hungry la..haha..where she grumbled n grumbled..till she dropped a sushi..lol..dats not y she dropped it though..but she did drop one..tsk tsk..fancy Chinese dunno how to use chopstick..she din hav to rush.. “bu yao ji..” u know..haha..for those who heard her ‘bu yao ji’ story..u’ll understand..hee..

It was durin the meal..dat I started to realize..she was in a veri stressful period..becos she went berserk and demonstrated chaos n insanity..watch the video below (double click)..lol..

In the aftermath of her insanity..we got to Ngee Ann city to get Christmas presents..for the baby..a Carebear that sings..Aww…where’s my present??!!!..cycle and carriage aint that far away too..hee hee..i saw paul twohill at ngee ann city though..hm..hm...well..he is wat he looks in person as on camera..enuff said..phew..he didn’t win..haha..

we had to go to bishan to buy the pink dispenser for her bro..tsk tsk..stubborn..jus wun listen..white is so much nicer..n everyone tinks so too..we had to squeeze into the train..in order to get on..n dats where itchy monster became scaredy monster..she had an insane fear of being squashed by the door n also fallin out of the train..n started screamin everytime the train or the door moves..sigh...y r they all attention seekers..alvin n ade..one sings n one screams..haha..i jus wan a peaceful train ride..haha..i’m the onli normal one there..

we tried to look for shoe laces though..after buyin the dispenser..n scaredy monster said she knew just where the shop that sells it was..n shop by shop she led..detour by detour we went..circles n circles we turned..n finally..she realize..we’ve been goin the wrong way..liew..Junction 8 is how small la..sigh..no wonder she got lost in her own neighbourhood..lol..

by the end of the day..the bags accumulated n it became so so so bulky that I got stuck while tryin to get on the bus..lol..so embarrassin la..my first time..sob..n the items weren’t even mine..

I bumped into Belinda at TPY (no Alvin..TPY does not stand for Tampany)..after I sent ade home..n we chatted..since we were abt to take the same bus..she asked me wat I’m doin now..whether I’m workin..n I told her I am schooling..n she went.. “oh RMIT or UOL?”..den I replied “oh I’m at SMU now..” and she quickly replied in a surprised tone “oh u managed to squeeze in???”(in chinese) without tinkin n started to withdraw it once she realized wat she said..grrrrrr….y??!!?!!? is it such a surprise???…grrrrrrr….do I look too stupid to be there??!!?!?!...grrrrrr….another one!!!...grrr…gonna smack u ppl..lol..
